A few months back, popular South African rapper, AKA was caught in an internet cross fire during the recent xenophobic attacks in his country. This caused a strain in his friendship with Nigerian singer, Burna Boy who threatened to assault him the next time they meet.
Organisers of the 2019 Africans Unite concert scheduled to happen in Cape Town on Nov. 23 recently announced the Nigerian singer as one of its performers. Reacting to the announcement, AKA tweeted,
“I would love to attend this show and watch this man put his hands on me in my own country.”
After a fan advised him to bury the hatchet with the singer, he wrote,
“I wouldn’t mind at all …he must apologize so we can forgive him“.
