The wait is finally over as Starboy Entertainment boss, Wizkid drops one of the most anticipated songs of the year, the new song “Joro“ comes after a successful release of “Ghetto Love” which has been tagged as bad music by many but continues to enjoy radio rotation worldwide. The video for “Ghetto Love” which was released over a week ago currently has over 3 million YouTube views.
“Joro” release was announced on Apple’s music Beats 1 radio yesterday evening, around 9:55pm Nigerian time, hosted by Ebro Darden.
Before releasing his most recent singles, Starboy has been cracking the music scene with hit songs like I Like, Dis Love and Brown Skin Girl alongside Beyoncé, Blue Ivy, and SAINt JHN on The Lion King soundtrack album. “Joro“ was produced and co-written by the very talented music producer, Northboi also know as the production oracle and it comes after placing Starboy fans on a long wait as a result of the long delay.
On the latest release Wizkid vibes for his Lady, invites her to “Joro“ which means dance as he gives some delightful Starboy performance and tune that relaxes her and puts her in a dancing mood within a very short period of time. This latest offering is a fusion of the Caribbean and dancehall vibes. His much-anticipated international album release is scheduled for release before this year 2019 runs out, the album is titled “Made In Lagos.”

Wizkid has additionally been declared to be the headliner at the BBC’s 1Xtra Live Festival on October 5, 2019. The singer will headline 1Dance Africa 2019, Australia’s first-ever Afrobeats festival, on October 11, 2019, in Sydney and October 12, 2019, in Melbourne.
